Deeper Things

Physics, antiquities, science, Messiah, archeology, Big Bang, evolution, Christians, Mormons, Jesus, God, Jews, Bible, Book of Mormon, prophecy, doctrine, government, philosophy, New World Order, Illuminati, alternate energy and more. Here is where it all comes together for discussion in a deeper fashion. No arguments, just good, solid, eclectic discussions for true intellectuals. Deeper Things is a site where matters that might be found to be somewhat abrasive for the average man or woman, which might cause the eyes to glaze over or induce snoring in others may be openly and freely discussed. Some of us actually like to analyze things and understand them in depth. This is the place to do it. Some of us are sincerely interested in and do not fear the things that "THEY" don't want you to know. Here is where we discuss subjects too frightening for the intellectually-faint-of-heart, the blind who will not see, etc.

There is no limit to what may be discussed here, however, I will insist that you do not promote violence, aberrant forms of behavior or any subversive groups. A good rule of thumb is this: if true intellectuals will find it offensive, then it may be  best to refrain from mentioning it. Take it to your neighborhood saloon instead. I reserve the right to include other subject matter in the future, as need may dictate.

All are welcome here and you may merely observe or may fully participate and contribute resources and information. If you do participate, all that is asked in the way of ground rules is this: Be kind and respectful. You may disagree without being disagreeable in nature. If you contribute or disagree, please try, in all instances, to provide some evidence or logic for your line of thinking. 'Hit-and-run', 'off-the-wall' claims with no logical reasoning or evidence offered will not be looked upon favorably.  Why should they? Put some honest thought into your responses.

There are no age limitations, as intellect knows no age barriers. You may be left wing, right wing, atheist, agnostic or believer of any shade. You may be any skin color or ethnicity there is. None of that matters here. What matters is that you enjoy talking to others about ideas and concepts that will benefit and stimulate all parties involved.

The site came about because a friend and I found it difficult to locate other places to openly discuss such matters, quite frankly. And in one instance on another site, a very detailed and thoughtful blog posting, including all comments in the thread, suddenly disappeared without warning--I think because the administrator is a devout atheist, although I can't prove it was her. Hopefully there will be no glitches here to cause similar instances.

With that in mind,  have at it and enjoy. The site will grow with your help, so return often and add your insights.
